Remembering Our FOunder

We remember Mark Harris as a man full of life, love, and laughter. He cared deeply for everyone he worked with and never missed the chance to share a good joke. More than a leader, he was a friend who built a company rooted in kindness, integrity, and community. His vision lives on through his son Tyler Harris, and his business partner, Dr. Harry Lockstadt, who carry forward the work he began. Though he is gone, his spirit, humor, and legacy will never be forgotten.

As a founding partner of Bluegrass Orthopedics, Dr. Harry Lockstadt is one of the premier spine surgeons in Kentucky. By day, he works a with a team of 55+ physicians, PA’s and rehabilitation therapists to help people in the treatment of spine care and back pain. Yet, he equally has an entrepreneurial side – with multiple realistic ventures over the past 25 years – investments from energy, movies, apps, medical devices, taking a company public and alas – bourbon and cigars. His savvy business mind knows how to bring together the right people to create the synergy for success… Dr. Lockstadt is an avid golfer and enjoys woodworking at home. When you hear the phrase, “ I’ve got your back,” Dr. Lockstadt and Mr. Harris literally and figuratively have every single one of our clients’ backs.

Tyler Harris

Tyler is from, of all places, Bourbon County. After attending Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, he came home to begin his business career. For the next 14 years, Tyler was involved in the sales field, including contracts in the timber industry where he worked closely with many cooperages and suppliers in the Kentucky area. His passion for Kentucky’s native spirit led him to WDTS. Tyler leads North American sales and is a backbone to developing relationships with suppliers and distilleries in order to procure distillate for our clientele. With his background in sales, client relations is a natural fit for Tyler and a responsibility he takes in great pride.

White Dog’s second Tyler, Ty as his friends call him, is a Kentucky native from Maysville. He grew up just a short distance from Old Pogue which was founded back in 1876 and is regarded as one of the earliest bourbon distilleries in KY. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2015, Tyler went to work for a commercial real estate company in Lexington. Through his connections there, Tyler found his way to White Dog. He currently serves as Director of Operations and his past experience in management & communications make him an ideal fit for White Dog. Tyler takes pride in his ability to stay on top of daily operations while building meaningful relationships with White Dog’s clients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in nature, cooking, traveling, and a good glass of bourbon.

Morgan serves as Chief Financial Officer, bringing strategic financial leadership and a strong foundation in business management through his MBA and diverse business experience. With a career focused on driving sustainable growth and operational excellence, he is dedicated to supporting both the company’s long-term vision and day-to-day success.  Outside of work, Morgan is passionate about motorsports and music, often found behind the drum kit when not behind the wheel. He enjoys quality time with his wife and daughter and appreciates life’s simple pleasures, especially watching a sunset with a fine pour of bourbon in hand.
